Undy, a parish in Monmouthshire, on the coast, 1 mile E of Magor station on the South Wales section of the G.W.R., and 7 miles E by S of Newport. Post town, Newport; money order and telegraph office, Magor. Acreage, 1763 of land and 2120 of foreshore; population, 393. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Llandaff; gross value, £231 with residence. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Llandaff. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1880. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
