Llanvihangel-ystem-Llewem, a parish in Monmouthshire, on the river Trothy, and 5 miles WNW of Monmouth. Post town, Monmouth. Acreage, 1861; population, 159. Talycoed Court is the chief residence. A barn of Grace Dieu Cistercian Abbey was here. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Llandaff; net value, £176 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Llandaff. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1875.
