Description
Bettws, a parish in Monmouthshire, 2 miles NW of Newport, which is the post town. Acreage, 1133; population, 107. Lord Tredegar is lord of the manor. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the rectory of Henllys, in the diocese of Llandaff. Patron, the Bishop of Llandaff. The church is small, but ancient, and was repaired in 1858.
