Description
Reynoldston, a parish in Glamorgan, in the Gower peninsula, under Cefn Bryn, 9 miles WSW of Killay station on the L. & N.W.R., and 13 WSW of Swansea. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Swansea. Acreage, 1069; population, 307. There is a parish council consisting of five members and a chairman. The manor belonged to Reginald de Braose. Stout Hall and Fairy Hill are the chief residences. There is a large cave in the grounds at Stout Hall. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Davids; net value, £105 with residence The church is ancient and was restored in 1866.
