Llanelian, a parish in Denbighshire, on the coast, half a mile S of Colwyn station on the L. & N.W.R., and 5 1/2 W by S of Abergele. It has a post office under Abergele (R.S. 0.); money order and telegraph office, Colwyn. Acreage, 3487 ; population, 441. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Asaph; gross value, £280 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of St Asaph. The church is dedicated to St Eleri.
