Llanbedrog, Carnarvonshire

Description
Llanbedrog or Llanbadrig, a parish in Carnarvonshire, on the E coast of the Lleyn Peninsula, near St Tudwall's Bay, 4 miles SW of Pwllheli. It has a post and money order office under Pwllheli; telegraph office, Abersoch. Acreage, 2307, with 100 of foreshore; population of the civil parish, 500; of the ecclesiastical, 1841. Wern Vawr, The Cottage, and Glyn Weddw are the chief residences. Much of the land is-rocky and waste. The living is a rectory, united with the perpetual curacies of Llanfihangel Bachellaeth and Llangian, in the diocese of Bangor; gross value, J£511 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Bangor. The church is dedicated to St Pedroc. There are Congregational and Wesleyan chapels.
