Description

Llangwyllog, a parish in Anglesey, 3 1/2 miles NW of Llangefni. It has a station on the Central Anglesey branch of the L. & N.W.R., and a post and money order office (R.S.O.); telegraph office, Llangefni. Acreage, 2442; population, 207. Roman coins have been found. The living is a vicarage, with Coedana annexed, in the diocese of Bangor; gross value, £267, in the gift of the Bishop of Bangor. The church is dedicated to St Cwyllog, and is good. There is a Calvinistic Methodist chapel.
