Description
Farmanby, formerly a township in Ellerburne parish,, N. R. Yorkshire, was annexed under a Local Government order in 1887 for civil purposes to Thomton Dale, 2 miles ESE of Pickering station on the N.E.R. Post town, Pickering. The area and population is included with that of Thomtoi£ Dale.
