Faceby, a village, a township, and an ecclesiastical parish in the N. E. Yorkshire, 2 miles SE of Potto station on the N.E.R., 2 S of Sexhow station on the N.E.R., and 4 SSW of Stokesley. Post town, Northallerton. Acreage, 1382; population, 110. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of York; gross value, £116 with residence. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
