Ackton-with-Loscoe-Grange, a small village and a township in the parish of Featherstone, W. R. Yorkshire. It is 3 miles from Pontefract, and 2 from Featherstone station on the L. & Y.R. Pontefract is the post town; money order and telegraph office, Purston. Area, 968 acres; population, 729. Acton Hall, the seat of the Bradley family, is an ancient mansion. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
