Evenlode, a parish in Worcestershire, on the river Evenlode, near its source, 3 miles SSE of Moreton-in-the-Marsh, 2 N of Adiestrop on the G.W.R., and 3 NE of Stow-on-the-Wold. Post town, Moreton-in-the-Marsh. Acreage, 1619 ; population, 248. The manor was known at Domesday as Eunilade, and belonged to Worcester church. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; gross value, £270. The church was restored in 1885, and the chancel in 1878.
