Yatton Keynell, a parish in Wiltshire, 4 miles WNW of Chippenbam station on the G.W.R., with a post, money order, and telegraph office under Chippenham. Acreage, 1759; population, 520. There is a parish council consisting of nine members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £300 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone, and has been restored. There is a small Congregational chapel.
