Langford, Little, a parish in Wiltshire, on the river Wylye, 2 miles from Wylye station on the G.W.R., and 6 NW by W of Wilton. Post town, Bath; money order and telegraph office, Wylye. Acreage, 1015; population, 62. The manor belongs to the Earl of Pembroke. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Salisbury; value, £100 with residence. Patron, the Earl of Pembroke. The church was rebuilt in 1864, is in the Norman and Early English styles, of flint with stone dressings, and has an E memorial window to Lord Herbert of Lea, three other painted windows, and some good carving.
