Whitacre, Nether, a parish in Warwickshire, containing Whitacre Junction station, and 3 miles ENE of Coleshill. It has a post office, called Whitacre Heath, under Birmingham; money order office, Shustoke; telegraph office, Whitacre railway station. Acreage, 1995; population, 543. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; gross value, £375 with residence. Patron, Earl Howe. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1870. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
