Leek Wootton, a village and a parish in Warwickshire. The village stands near the river Avon, 1 1/2 mile S by W of Kenilworth station on the L. & N.W.R., and 2 miles N of Warwick. It has a post and telegraph office under Warwick; money order office, Warwick. The parish contains also the hamlet of Hill Wootton. Acreage, 2101; population, 420£ The manor belongs to Lord Algernon Percy, owner of Guy'£ Cliffe, which is just outside the parish. Woodcote House and Wootton Court are the chief residences. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Worcester; gross value,, £300 with residence. Patron, Lord Leigh. The church was rebuilt in 1792, and restored in 1889.
