Description
Wyverstone, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, 2 1/2 miles SW of Finningham station on the G.E.R., and 6 N of Stowmarket. Post town, Bacton, under Stowmarket. Acreage, 1558; population, 245. There is a parish council consisting of five members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £224 with residence, in the gift of the Lord Chancellor. The church is an ancient edifice of flint in the Early English style, with an embattled tower.
