Westhall, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, 3 miles NE of Halesworth station on the G.E.R. Post town, Wangford. Acreage, 2318; population, 391. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. Westhall Hall belonged to the Bohuns, and is now the property of the Earl of Stradbroke. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £150 with residence. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Norwich. The church is a building of flint in the Gothic and Norman styles. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel
