Wattisfield, Suffolk

Wattisfield, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, 3 miles SW of Botesdale, and 6 NW of Finningham station on the G.E.R. It lias a post office under Diss; money order and telegraph office, Walsham-le-Willows. Acreage, 1530; population, 434. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. There are two potteries. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ely; net value, £175 with residence. The church is a small but ancient pebble structure in the Perpendicular style. There are Wesleyan and Congregational chapels.
