Description
Tuddenham St Mary, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, 3 miles SE of Mildenhall, and 3 N by W of Higham station on the G.E.R. It has a post office under Soham. Acreage, 2664; population, 329. There are two manors, and both belong to the Marquis of Bristol. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ely; gross value, £300 with residence. Patron, the Marquis of Bristol. The church is an; ancient building of stone in the Early English style, and was thoroughly restored in 1876. There is a Baptist chapel.
