Stratford St Andrew, a small village and a parish on the river Aide, in Suffolk, 3 1/4 miles SW of Saxmundham, and S 1/4 NE from Marlesford station on the Framlingham branch of the G.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Saxmundham. Acreage, 800; population, 202. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £172 with residence. The church, restored in 1870, is an Early English building of cut flint and stone, consisting of chancel, nave, S porch, and an embattled western tower.
