Mickfield, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, 3 miles WSW of Debenham, and 8 NE from Stowmarket station on the Ipswich and Norwich section of the G.E.R. It has a post office under Stonham; money order and telegraph office, Stonham. Acreage, 1274; population, 224. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £320 with residence. The church is an ancient Gothic building of flint and stone, and has a tower faced with flints.
