Description
Wenham, Little, a parish in Suffolk, 1 1/2 mile W by N of Capel station on the G.E.R., and 4 1/2 miles SE by E of Hadleigh. Post town, Colchester. Acreage, 940; population of the civil parish, 56; of the ecclesiastical, with Capel St Mary, 661. The living is a rectory, consolidated with Capel St Mary. The church is of the 13th century. There are considerable remains of a moated castle of the 13th century.
