Description
Blakenham, Little, a parish in Suffolk, 1 1/2 mile WSW of Claydon station on the G.E.R., and 4 1/2 miles S by E of Needham-Market. Post town, Ipswich ; money order and telegraph office, Claydon. Acreage, 1070; population of civil parish, 159; of the ecclesiastical, 221. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £252 with residence. The church, a building of flint and stone, in the Early English and Decorated styles, was restored in 1868.
