Description
Kettleburgh, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, near the river Deben, and 2 1/4 miles SW by S of Framlingham station on the G.E.R. It has a post office under Wickham Market; money order and telegraph office, Framlingham. Acreage, 1446; population, 284. The manor belongs to the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net yearly value,, £284 with residence. The church, a building of flint and stone in the Perpendicular style, was restored in 1882 and again in 1891.
