Hepworth, a village and a parish in Suffolk. The village stands 3 1/2 miles SW from the Little Ouse river, at the-boundary with Norfolk, 5 NE from Ixworth, and 9 SE from Thetford station on the G.E.R., and has a post office under Diss; money order and telegraph office, Walsham-le-WillowsL The parish comprises 1693 acres; population, 439. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ely; net yearly value, £305. Patron, King's College, Cambridge. The church is an ancient building of rubble, with a thatched roof, in the Early English style, and has an embattled tower. There is a Primitive Methodist chapeL
