Description
Waldingfield, Great, a parish, with a village, in Suffolk, 3 1/2 miles NE of Sudbury station on the G.E.R. It has a post office under Sudbury; money order and telegraph office, Sudbury. Acreage, 2303; population of the civil parish, 557; of the ecclesiastical, 569. There is a parish council of seven members and a chairman. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ely; net value, £475 with residence. Patron, Clare College, Cambridge. The church is a Gothic structure of rubble, and has been well restored.
