Cornard, Great, a village and a parish in Suffolk, 1 1/2 mile SE of Sudbury station on the G.E.R., with a post office under Sudbury; money order and telegraph office, Sudbury. Acreage, 1673; population, 966. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Ely; value, £102 with residence. The church is a building of flint in the Early English style. There is a Congregational chapel.
