Description
Foxhall, a parish in Suffolk, on an affluent of the river Deben, 1 1/2 mile NE from Orwell station on the G.E.R., and 4 1/2 miles E by S of Ipswich. Post town and money order office£ Ipswich; telegraph office, Nacton. Acreage, 1850; population of the civil parish, 213^ of the ecclesiastical, 363. 'Much of the land is heathy, affording only pasturage for sheep and cattle. The living is a vicarage, annexed with the vicarage of Brightwell to Kesgrave, in the diocese of Norwich; joint gross yearly value, £90 with residence. There is no church.
