Finningham, Suffolk

Finningham, a village and a parish in Suffolk. The village* stands adjacent to the G.E.R., 6 1/4 miles SW of Eye, and ha£ a station on the railway, and a post, money order, and telegraph office under Stowmarket. The parish comprises 1257 acres; population, 414. The living is a rectory in the diocese-of Norwich; net value, £231 with residence. The church is ancient but good, and has a fine font, and monuments of the-Freres and the Fenns. There are a Primitive Methodist chapel and charities, about £26.
