Description
Eyke, a village and a parish in Suffolk. The village-stands near the river Deben, 1 1/2 mile ENE from Melton station on the G.E.R., and 4 NE by E from Woodbridge,. and has a post office under Woodbridge; money order and. telegraph office, Melton. The parish comprises 2784 acres; population, 489. The living is a rectoiy in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £440. The church is a very ancient building of flint partly in the Norman style.
