Easton Bavents, a parish in Suffolk, on the coast, 1 1/4-mile NNE from Southwold. Acreage, 323 ; population, 18. A market-town once stood here, hut has been washed away by the sea, and the place now consists of a few cottages only, while the sea is still encroaching upon the shore. The living is a rectory annexed to Benacre.
