Chattisham, a parish in Suffolk, 2 1/2 miles NE of Eaydon station on the G.E.R., and 5 SW by W of Ipswich. Post town, Ipswich; money order and telegraph office, Copdock. Acreage, 724; population, 206. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; value, £135 with residence and glebe. Patron, Eton College. the church, a plain building of flint and brick, has a brass of 1592. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
