Description
Hollinsclough, a village and a township in Alstonfield parish, Staffordshire, near the sources of the rivers Dove and Manifold, 2 miles NW of Longnor. Post town, Bnxton; money order and telegraph office, Longnor. Acreage, 1842; population, 308. The manor belongs to Sir V. H. Crewe, Bart. There are a chapel of ease, erected in 1840, and a Wesleyan chapel.
