Hanchurch, a township in Trentham parish, Staffordshire, near the Trent and Mersey, Canal, 1 1/2 mile NW of Trentham, and 3 1/2 miles SSW of Stoke-npon-Trent. It has a post office under Newcastle-under-Lyme; money order and telegraph office, Trentham.
