Description
Easthope, a village and a parish in Salop, under Wenlock Edge, 2 miles SW of Presthope station on the G.W.R., and 4 1/2 SW of Much Wenlock, with a post office under Much Wenlock (R.S.O.); money order and telegraph office, Mucli Wenlock. Acreage, 817 ; population, 100. Lutwyche Hall is the seat of the lord of the manor. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £91 with residence. The church is ancient, and contains an old font and carved oak pulpit and pews.
