Description
Coreley, a village and a parish in Salop, under the Clee Hills, 3 1/4 miles W by N of Neen Sellers station on the Tenbury and Bewdley branch of the G.W.R., and 4 NNE of Tenbury, with a post office under Tenbury; money order office, Clee Hill. Acreage of the parish, 2205; population, 584. Coal, granite, and ironstone are worked. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £172 with residence. The church is of brick and ancient, with tower and spire.
