Emmington or Ammington, a parish in Oxfordshire, adjacent to Bucks, under the Chiltem Hills, 3 1/2 miles SE by S of Thame town and station on the G.W.R. Post town, and money order and telegraph office, Tetsworth. Acreage, 740; population, 51. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford; net value, £107 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Decorated style.
