Description
Easington, a village and a parish in Oxfordshire, under the Chilterns, 4 miles SSW of Tetsworth, and 3 NW from Watlington station on the G.W.R. Post town, Tetsworth; money order and telegraph office, Watlington. Acreage, 29 5; population, 31. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford, and was annexed in 1853 to Cuxham; joint value, £150 with residence. The church is ancient, and occasional services are held in it.
