Dunstew or Duns Tew, a village and a parish in Oxfordshire, near the river Cherwell, 2 1/4 miles W from Somerton station on the G.W.R., and 2 1/4 SSW from Deddington. Post, money order, and telegraph office, Deddington, under Oxford. Acreage, 1749; population, 266. The manor-house is the chief residence. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford; value, £142 with residence. The church is ancient, and has a tower.
