Description
Clifton-Hampden, a village and a parish in Oxfordshire, on the river Thames, 1 1/2 mile E by N of Culham station on the G.W.R., and 3 1/2 miles ESE of Abingdon, with a post and telegraph office under Abingdon; money order office, Dorchester. Acreage, 1245 ; population, 302. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford; net yearly value, £320. The church is a small building of stone in mixed styles.
