Acreage, 2352; population, 226. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford; gross yearly value, £350 with residence. Patron, Christ Church, Oxford. The church is Early English, and contains a stone pulpit and monuments of the Hungerfords and Sir A. Hopton. There is also a Primitive Methodist chapel. Maria Edgeworth was a native.
