Wallingwells, formerly extra-parochial, but now a parish in W. R. Yorkshire and Notts, 3 1/2 miles S by W of Worksop. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Worksop. Acreage, 251 in Notts, and 351 in W. R. Yorkshire; population, 29. Wallingwells Hall is the seat of the baronet family of White, who are lords of the manor; it occupies the site of an ancient Benedictine nunnery.
