Nether Langwith, Nottinghamshire

Description
Langwith, Nether, a township, with a village, in Norton Cuckney parish, Notts, adjacent to Derbyshire, 6 1/4 miles N of Mansfield. It has a post and money order office under Mansfield, and a station, with telegraph office, on the M.R. at Upper Langworth in Derbyshire. Acreage, 1304; population, 363. Langwith Lodge was formerly an occasional seat of Earl Bathurst, and is now the residence of the Welfitt family.
