Description
Hockerton, a village and a parish in Notts, 1 1/2 mile NNE of Southwell station on the M.R. Post town, money order, and telegraph office, Southwell. Acreage, 1386; population, 68. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Southwell; net value, £169 with residence. The church is old, and consists of nave and chancel, with a tower and three bells, and was thoroughly restored in 1876.
