Eshott, Northumberland

Eshott, a township in Felton parish, Northumberland, on the river Coquet, 7 1/2 miles NNW of Morpeth, and 1 mile from Chevington station on the N.E.R. Acreage, 1794; population, 126. Eshott Hall is the seat of the Bainbridges, who are the chief landowners.
