Plumpton, a small village and a parish in Northamptonshire, 6 1/2 miles W of Towcester, 10 S by E of Daventry, and 2 NE of Blakesley station on the East and West Junction railway. The church is a building of stone in the Late Perpendicular style, consisting of chancel, nave, S porch, and an embattled western tower.
