Description
Harrowden, Little, a village and a parish in Northamptonshire. The village stands 1 1/2 mile SW from Finedon station on the M.R., 3 miles N by W from WeUingborough, and has a post office under WeUingborough; money order and telegraph office, Wellingborongh. The parish comprises 1574 acres; population of the civil parish, 770; of the ecclesiastical, with Great Harrowden, 918. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the vicarage of. Great Harrowden, in the diocese of Peterborough. The church is an ancient building of stone of the 14th century, and there is a Wesleyan chapel. The ironworks of the Glendon Iron-Ore Co. are on the border of this parish.
