Hothorpe, a township in Theddingworthparish, Northamp-tonshire, on the river Welland, 4 1/2 miles SW from Market Harborongh, and 1 mile from Theddingworth station on the L. & N.W. R. Post town, Rugby; money order and telegraph office, Husbands Bosworth. Acreage, 954; population, 48. Hothorpe Hall is a modern mansion standing in a park of about 100 acres.
