Grafton Underwood, a parish in Northamptonshire, 4 miles ENE of Kettering, and 2 N from Cranford station on the M.R. Post town and money order office, Kettering; telegraph office, Cranford railway station. Acreage, 1825; population, 246. The manor belongs to the Duke of Buccleuch. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough; gross yearly value, £100 with residence. Patron, Lord Lyveden. The church has a spire, and contains monuments to the Earl of Ossory and the ladies Fitzpatrick.
