Description
Cranford St Andrew, a village and a parish in Northamptonshire, 4 miles ESE from Ketteriag, with a station on the Kettering, Huntingdon, and Cambridge branch of the M.R., with a post office under Kettering; money order office, Burton Latimer; telegraph office, Cranford railway station. Acreage, 1398 ; population, 183. The living is a rectory, with Cranford St John annexed, in the diocese of Peterborough; gross joint yearly value, £214 with residence. The church is a small building of stone in the Late Norman style. Cranford Hall, the seat of the Robinson family, is a chief residence. There are ironstone mines.
